What are Red Wigglers?
Red Wigglers are the most common composting worm. They are also known as tiger worms and red worms.
They grow up to 4 inches long. There are 1000 worms per pound.
What do they eat?
They eat garbage that you have around the house like; paper, cardboard, and produce scraps.
They can eat two times their body weight in one day. Which can help out up to 65 to 70% recycling your garbage to help with your household green footprint?
What can you use the Red Wigglers for?
- Red Wigglers are a composting worm that makes vermicompost that is an excellent organic fertilizer.
- They make awesome exotic pet food. Whatever animal you need to feed worms to. You can breed your worms and not have to worry about running out of worms.
What kind of worm bin can you use?
You can use a plastic storage tote.
These are worms are best used in the Worm Inn. Red Wigglers are top composting worms.
Which means that they like to stay in the top 4 inches of the compost.

Red Wigglers excel in 72 degrees Fahrenheit.
They slow down in 40 to 65 degrees. Anything below that can kill them.
Anything 85 degrees or above can kill them.
The best places for them are in the house or in the basement if you have one.
